Art direction, design and illustration for
book that teaches employees about brand values in a playful manner

Nordstan is Sweden's leading shopping mall located in central Göteborg. Until 2005, they had not been taking care of their brand properly and needed to clean up their image to stay competitive to other smaller shopping malls.

Together with brand consultants Jens Holmer and Stina Palmqvist, Tamburlane art directed and designed a book that pinpoints the soul and core of Nordstan's brand. It attempts to invite everyone working in or with the shopping mall to join the collective effort of making Nordstan the greatest shopping mall in Scandinavia. A small back-to-school exercise booklet accompanies the book and was used during a series of workshops with the employees, partners and real estate agents.
