Bobby Dazzler on the map
Bobby Dazzler is a fashion shop selling clothing, footwear and accessories, since 2006. The client commissioned me to market their shop. By then, they had a small but loyal following – the challenge seemed to lay in making new customers geographically finding their way to the shop.In strategic locations all around the city we placed small plastic toy animals, repeatedly in a period of several weeks. The animals had a note attached that read I'm lost! Please help me finding my way home to Bobby Dazzler (at Kaserntorget 8) and you'll get a finders fee. The back of the note had a treasure map with an X marking the spot of the shop. Customers returning the animals got a discount in the store. The toy animals themselves would serve as a reference to the shop, as they already featured these toys as a tongue-in-cheek detail, attached to the garments along with the tag.
The result was a highly effective and measurable campaign with extremely low budget. Over 30 percent of the toys actually found it's way back home.
